and for the first time ever I have no conflicts!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
it seems like they made each block 50 minutes in order to have 5 total blocks.
wouldn't this make some events tight on time? aren't the tests for most study events ~50 minutes long as well? :?:

No, you're not being passive-aggressive here. Clearly, the only thing you ARE being here is a jerk.
Wait, I thought PA was unusually aggressive? :?:
The PA thread makes this look tame.

I'm pretty sure 50 minute blocks with 10 minute breaks in between is the same as every other year I've done scioly? Study event tests are indeed 50 minutes, which is why the blocks are this length?

Yeah...50; 10 is what they have always done.

In other good news, out of the three events that I have at regionals (Optics, Potions, and DD, none of them are conflicting.)

In bad news, potions is conflicting with Anatomy and my partner is doing that so...idk

If anyone wants to meet at UCC,...I am free during slots 2 and 3...

Ideally. yes. It's a difficult task that nobody wants to do, but given the number of Science Olympiad alumni, this should theoretically be possible.

On the bolded part, I don't think he is being a jerk...just frustrated

It must be a cultural thing. The PA thread strikes me as way more tame thus far than the NJ thread.

This thread is like twice as long than the longest of the other states' threads, although it's possible for a thread to become long because people repeatedly compliment each other and fangirl over unicorns and rainbows or whatever, it does seem probable just from the number of posts that this thread is kinda salty.

I feel like none of these thread are too aggressive...come on. In PA, they were simply saying that a prediction is unlike and here we have someone wanting better regionals....

It's alright

You're honestly right, neither thread is all that aggressive by any stretch of the imagination.

Now, last year's Southern California thread; that got a little rough. ;)
