I don't know much about IL tourneys or distances in that area (I was guesstimating). You could try Northridge (Jan 28?, northwestern IN) or Sylvania Northview (Dec 10, northwestern OH) if the dates work.Magikarpmaster629 wrote:I was thinking more IL-IN-OH since they mostly aren't too far and they have a lot of good teams.

Re: Wright State Invitational
If you are looking in Indiana, Northridge/Valpo are the best invitationals (from personal experience). Drive would be about 5 hours.Unome wrote:I don't know much about IL tourneys or distances in that area (I was guesstimating). Re: Wright State Invitational
Michigan has some pretty good invitationals, they are generally listed on the MiSO website http://miscioly.org/
They are listed as we get details, so check periodically, but I see a few are already there.

Re: Wright State Invitational
We (Daniel Wright) attended the Boyceville Invitational last year and felt that it forced us to prepare early. The tournament organizers were fantastic and very accommodating, nearly all of the events were very well run. We are attending again this year so we can get a head start on our build events prior to winter break.

Re: Wright State Invitational
So...
- The website originally said that there will be 30 B and 40 C teams, but now the schedule shows 60 per division.
- In addition, the tournament date listed on both schedules is January 21st (which is a Saturday this year, but has never been the tournament date for Wright State in previous years), while most other sources say January 28th (which I previously thought was the correct date), but the Awards Ceremony page on the tournament website says January 27th in two separate locations.

Looked at the website, says it's Jan 28th.Unome wrote:So...

EDIT: But you're right, the schedules do say the 21st

Re: Wright State Invitational
Any predictions for top 10 teams at Wright State? (Yes I know it's a bit early)

Re: Wright State Invitational
Having attended Wright State before, I think that would largely depend on who's attending this year. Theoretically speaking, for Div. C I'd say Solon, Centerville, Mentor, Northville (if they come) and Carmel should be in the top 10. If Bloomington comes...maybe. I'm not entirely sure.BobbyJoe wrote:Any predictions for top 10 teams at Wright State? (Yes I know it's a bit early)

Re: Wright State Invitational
Munster is coming. Plus DuPont Manual is pretty good. Also I wouldn't be surprised if some IL/PA/TX schools showed up since Wright State is the nationals site this year.pikachu4919 wrote:Having attended Wright State before, I think that would largely depend on who's attending this year. Oooh...uh OK. Welp, that'll throw off my predictions by quite a bit (like I really had any in the first place?).dcrxcode wrote:Munster is coming. Plus DuPont Manual is pretty good.
