Yeah, if there is ever a math olympiad, though, it could definately be an event.

If there was a math olympiad (which I highly doubt), that would probably be the first event. But I don't think we have to worry about math olympiad. Math doesn't have nearly as many topics as science. Science is so vast...

Yes, well then, I guess this was a sort of useless thread, seeing that not a lot of people know about this. I'll just wait for someone from texas to post here.

This was a trial event at nationals I think 3 or 4 years ago.

Yes, that's what I said. For example, physics is very similar to calculus.

There is a math olympiad, just not in the sense that Science Olympiad is.

Physics is applied calculus.
