The best year for pi day was on 3/14/1595. Bummer we missed it. It's also Giovanni Schiaparelli's birthday, the man that drew a map of mars (thank you google!)

My friend and I are baking a pie later today in honor of pi day. Unfortunately, we won't be able to get it in the oven at 1:59 PM, because we will both be at SciO Saturday practice then xD

i'm totally going to get my parents to buy at least two pies :D

We also had Saturday practice at JTL, my old school, from about 8 or 9 to 12 or 1. I think it was good b/c it gave us more time to focus on SO, especially for the building events. I'm not saying we don't work on anything at home, I'm saying they were helpful.

We have Saturday practices from 11-4 usually, and we have about 3-5 of them before each competition.
