Lol I did it today with a resource binder and I think I did pretty good. The only thing I totally blew was the color part. and my robo cross love.

Literaly, My robot for robo cross started smoking like somehting was burning. Other than that we goin to states for sumobots which was just amazing

Even if they follow the rules exactly, it can be useful to know Snell's Law to make some of the questions easier... and one event had something that you needed it for as a tiebreaker, I remember.

But you can do sines on regular calculators, and it's not really that difficult of a formula.

And where does it say they can't use Snell's Law?

It never says it officially, but I would think a High School level math problem should be omitted. And most calculators that do sin also are graphing calculators, which are not allowed.

*raises eyebrows* You can do sines on a regular scientific calculator... and as a 9th grader (plus I'm taking 10th grade math... long story short, math is my thing), I forget that not everyone necessarily is familiar with trig.

i'm an 8th grader doing 10th grade math, but i suck at trig. :cry:
at least if i study for this, there's the added bonus of getting better at physics :D
