At some time before February (http://www.scioly.org/phpBB3/viewtopic. ... 45#p267617) maybe? Of course, I went through many YDRC pages thinking this post was there...Unome wrote:Since I wasn't really paying attention last year, when does soinc.org usually put up a page for this year's tournament? Looks like the National Tournament website got some updates. Looks like awards is one and a half hours long, and swap meet appears to be for two hours.

Perhaps it's sarcasm since awards tend to last much longer. But if awards for two divisions are run separately, it's possible. Last season's was 1:30-ish per division.Unome wrote::?:samlan16 wrote:Yeah, right.Unome wrote:Looks like awards is one and a half hours long

Well, with 26 events per division ---> 52 events total ---> this would be almost impossible unless they just dropped all the medals on to the audience randomly from above...but it looks like it's actually 2 hours though (7-9 PM)...Unome wrote:samlan16 wrote:Yeah, right.Unome wrote:Looks like awards is one and a half hours long

Sorry, misread the schedule; I was doing it on my phone, so it got confusing. Even so, I remember it being 3 hours for combined awards in 2014, and 1 and a half for each Division last year.John Richardsim wrote:Well, with 26 events per division ---> 52 events total ---> this would be almost impossible unless they just dropped all the medals on to the audience randomly from above...but it looks like it's actually 2 hours though (7-9 PM)...Unome wrote:samlan16 wrote: Yeah, right.
Also, I never knew stuff happened on Monday; learned something new!

There's no way that will happen. We know that won't happen.Unome wrote:samlan16 wrote:Yeah, right.Unome wrote:Looks like awards is one and a half hours long

Re: 2016 National Tournament: University of Wisconsin
Menomonie just barely got to nationals last year (devision C) (by three points), which does not ensure that they will make it this year. Madison West gets most of the students from Hamilton (the regular devision B state winner for Wisconsin) when they graduate, so Madison West has a very high chance of making it to nationals this year. It would suck to have nationals in your town, but not be able to attend it!

Problems are better pursued with General Electric GE90-115 engines.
