What is the difference between Reach for the Stars and Astronomy?

I think RFS is more learning and memorizing things about specific stars and other astronomical objects, and Astronomy is conceptual and more theoretical. While there are DSOs in Astronomy (and some tests are entirely DSOs), questions about the physics of a hypothetical star system are more common.Whiteheat073 wrote:What is the difference between Reach for the Stars and Astronomy?

I got third place school wide for Reach For The Stars! I had no partner and I relied solely on my memory (no notes)! I am ecstatic right now!

The easiest way is to take a flashlight and tape a red filter over it. You won't always need it, but even if you don't, you'll look super prepared if you have it.

For RFS, if there are 2 members in a team, do they take both tests (part 1 & 2) together?
