How many medals do you have?

What are the ribbons like? I think we get those, but our coach never gives em to us.. but they are just participation ribbons everyone gets.

they don't give us ribbons, they do give pins for participation at state, and indiana gave a medal to each team member of the teams that placed at state, but i haven't seen ribbons before

18 teams participated at my state competition last year. The ribbons are for the 4th, 5th, and 6th place finishers at each event and first, second, and third place finishes for alternates. My state doesnt have invitationals either. Bryant what state are you from?
Here's an example of what the ribbons look like. This is my 4th place ribbon from Rocks and Minerals. Every place has a different color. First place is blue, second place is red, third is green and so on.

That's interesting.. they don't do that for us. You get medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd at regionals and team medals if your team places 1st 2nd or 3rd. At states, its top 5

lets see, in 5 years, ive been to 5 regionals, 3 invitationals, 4 states, and 2 nats.
i dont know exact numbers, but i'd say:
20 golds
1 silver
10 bronze
1 4th place
4 5th place
so thats about 36 (my regionals and states give medals for 4th and 5th too)

I've been in div B for 2 years. I have 4 regional medals and 1 state(gold).

in tx, we get medals for top 3 places at most regionals (some do top 4), and top 4 places at state, and invitationals usually do the top 3, but they vary from place to place

I believe in my state the top 3 teams only get a trophy. A team trophy, not an individual one. I would think that the individual members would get medals but i didnt see them being given out at the award ceremony. My team was really close to getting third place. If we scored 8 more points then we would have had 3rd place instead of 6th place.

We do Top 5 at state, actually, and Top 3 at Regionals. Then again, Indiana as a whole has an abnormally large number of teams.
