I do Geomaps, Forensics, Astronomy, and Fossils. I only comment in It's About Time and Protein because I find them interesting topics, but I don't actually compete in them. (Studied for them but stopped because of scheduling conflicts.)

Here's one: find the Rf of black ink comprised of red ink that traveled 2.4 cm and blue ink that traveled 2.9 cm.

Okay, so...on a mass spec, what do you call a) the rightmost peak, and b) the tallest peak?

Rightmost= molecular ion mass; tallest= relative molecular mass/ relative formula mass

How can you tell the difference between sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate?

they have different pH values. Na2CO3's is 10 and NaHCO3's is 8.
