Is there any way of knowing whether there will be a location to do Bungee Drop at State? If they're going to drop it again like last year, I'd rather focus on different events.

There's no way to know for sure. At least not yet, since it's so early in the season. But, they've used the same venue for friday events for a few years now, and odds are it'll be the same one again, and it really doesn't have a good spot to do bungee drop from. So personally (and I have no real clue here, just a guess) I wouldn't expect to see it at state.

(also you can always plan on replacing it with a trial anyways and not have to worry too much about it)

According to the Texas A&M website, Bungee Drop will not be held.

Crud. I was really looking forward to it… I'll bet that puts the teams going to Nationals a somewhat of a disadvantage since they don't have the State competition to refine their designs.
