I think more remarkable than the ability of computers to beat CAPTCHA is the number of emails I used to get from people trying to register who couldn't beat it.

Two possibilities:
1. They could be a coach for that division.
2. They are spambots. (This is more likely.)
EDIT: 3. They could be older users who haven't been on the site in ages.

This guy is probably a spambot. He joined today, 25 yrs old, in Division B...and links to violin/string instrument online stores in his sig.
