Pentathalon is a B-division which has a few topics in the study event forums. Junkyard Challenge is a C-divsion event that has topics in the building events forum.

junkyard is pretty much the anti matter version of mystery architecture, instead of using whats supplied and finding out what to do at the competition, you supply whatever you need and know what you are doing before the competition

I thought that mystery architecture was cool last year. I didn't get to compete in it, but I would have if it was still here this year.

yeah, mystery architecture was one of my favorite events, and the only other one i actually tried to compete in last year besides crimebusters. pentathalon is such a stupid event. i cant believe it would replace mystery architecture.

I doubt you could really call pentathlon an event. You do random stuff like jumping on one leg or building a puzzle and answering a few random general science questions. My coach won't even let anyone practice it (how can you?) and said that he'll choose who's competing in it right before Regionals.

Our coach is doing the same thing, which means the event doesn't actually help you LEARN anything. You more just use what you already know, which defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

I can't believe pentathlon became an event.
