I agree. Our chinook easily got 1:30 (before bonus) and we chose not to use it until State because it was so easy to duplicate. If the rules (ever) allow chinooks again, everyone will need to have one to be competitive.retired1 wrote:With the couple of hours of the national that I watched, there were at least 3 chinooks that got well over a min which with the 3x bonus would have been 4 to 6 equivalent. Since the next year challenge is always in the minds of the rules writers, I feel a single rotor may be more difficult (but have never tried it so I really don't know). Another option would be to triple flight times who do not touch anything during the flight (i.e. a true helicopter that hovers). This is extremely difficult and deserves the extra score.
