I also am not doing this event. But since I tried to help someone I know a little with it, I'd say there are a lot of materials for this event. I think some things were mentioned last year. But I think I could find glaciers glossaries, definitions, etc online. I would say it's more of a problem with the large (should we say glacial) amount that could be asked.

Although I'm not doing this event, I think that there is a large amount of material about glaciers. My science book several chapter on glaciers and it was only the top of the iceberg.

I remember doing this event in 6th grade. Back then I had no clue what I was doing though. Suffice it to say, I didn't medal in it. I think it merits interest though.
