I log in from home, so blocking was never a problem.

I'm a stay-at-home mom who, with two other moms, and 30 students, are working to rebuild a Science Olympiad team that was deleted by the budget-cut ax.

This wiki is an amazing resource, and we are delighted with it.

I don't see a problem with the formulas in Optics at first glance. Could you take a screenshot of what you're seeing? That might help identify the problem.

(Thermo is fixed, thanks!... Optics appears, to me, to need similar fixes.)

I wonder if I just have to wait for a day or two for your changes to replicate through all the cached pages on the assorted distributed servers?
I access via Roadrunner, from Ohio. My DSN servers are 209.18.47.6*, my gateway is 75.187.192.1, and my IP address is very similar.

(I did poke enough to figure out how to edit the page in Chrome... when I deleted the .dreamhost from a few empty boxes, the formulas popped in. However, as soon as I refreshed the screen, my changes disappeared and the empty boxes returned. )

Lets start off by having you clear the cache. In chrome go to the wrench menu select Options. Then go to Under The Hood, and near the top there should be a button labeled Clear Browsing Data, hit that and make sure that Clear the Cache is selected (it can be the only one you select since the others will screw with your saved passwords) and then hit the Clear Browsing data again.

Hopefully this will fix the problem.

scratch that it doesn't work. for me. I have no blockage and I clean out my cache regularly. The fora stuff must be on my side.

However, the wiki thing up there in the Food Science Wiki article evidently isn't a viewing issue. Could someone fix that.

It was just a simple syntax error by whoever coded it. I fixed it just now.

Folks, my apologies. It appears forum and the Staircase of Wasted Time have been down for quite some time, due to a technical failure on my server that runs those services. They should now be fixed.
