Same with Pennsylvania, except we might even have two teams. Depending on how things go, we'll have at least one team at nationals. Isn't that coincidental?

Two teams, EAST? I think it's a little presumptuous to assume anything at this point, especially that there'll be two teams going to Nationals from Pennsylvania.

However, I must say that my team has a 23-year streak that we can't and won't break...a 23-year streak of not going to Nationals.

It is also highly likely that a team from Minnesota will be there. I think it'll also have high schoolers in it. It might be a bit of a stretch, but I think our division C nationals team will be composed of high schoolers.

I also think our chances of going to state are fairly high. That might be pushing it - I mean, our 3 teams at regionals could be in the bottom two slots and therefore not qualify for state. It could happen. I wouldn't want to get overconfident. Apologies to those who actually have a tough time qualifying for state, but... well, do the math for us.

Normally I would likely be handling Optics C, however this year I'll be in charge of all the scoring for the tournament, so I won't have time to run an event. My brother will run Helicopters though.

No offense or anything but that doesn't mean a thing. Last year when I was still in TN we beat a team that had won for 21 years.

Very true. There were a lot of upsets last year; don't count on past attendance for the future.

Despite that, I really do think we'll make it to Nats this year. Maybe 14 years straight counts for nothing this year (but it is, quite honestly, just something to brag about), but we're actually dedicated this year. Plus, the coach will be pushing his son pretty hard, and we have a LOT of dedicated people. Another thing is, we have so many people on our team that anyone on the A team who is not dedicated can be replaced. Besides, AL has only two even slightly competitive teams: OLV and ourselves. So...yeah.
I do believe that we will be getting to Nats this year.
