Congratulations ophiophagus. You have wasted an accusation. I am not Kokonilly. [I would think I would have been caught even sooner- that is to say, even before your accusation- if I were.]

At some point during the night, each officer in turn is startled awake by a sonorous knocking at his or her door. When each in turn opens the door, they can see nothing but what the streetlights have illuminated and perhaps the slightest hint of a person disappearing around a dark corner.
