Or there could be an event on marine invertebrates, including the more well-known phyla like mollusca, cnidaria, porifera, platyhelminthes, echinodermata, arthropoda, and maybe also have the rarer phyla like ctenophora, tardigrada, kinoryncha, hemichordata, etc.

Although a lot of them are highly toxic, and some can make you sick just by smelling them, so those probably won't be on the list =)

I'm pretty sure that the best way to create a new event is to write up trial event rules, submit it to soinc, wait a long time, then get really really lucky. Maybe if we had a poll or petition we could do it faster, but it would have to be a very good event idea.
