Z, that was a little harsh. But true. I remember my first days of activity. Everyone hated (still hates? I hope not-please clarify.) me.
quadratic, my best advice is to heed everyone else's advice and do this- when you make a thread, think "will this make people mad?" "Is it necessary?"
I want you to be happy here, but there is a learning curve to what is tolerated.

You guys are being too harsh.

This IS the Posting Games forum, and this IS a Posting Game. It might not be at the same caliber as the Assassination game, but you guys have no right to determine which Posting Game is worthy of the General forums. The main point of the Posting Games forum is for fun. If it turns out that people don't want to play this game, then they won't and the thread will slowly die away (assuming the OP doesn't bump, which IS spamming). But that's the decision of the people on the forum, killing or locking a thread because YOU find it pointless on a forum that's specifically set aside for pointless threads is out of line, I think. If people can't try to invent games on the Posting Games forums, then what's the point of the forum?

Yeah- what if you'd all found the Virtual Game pointless, and let it die? It led to TAR, which everyone loves.
