Re: 2011 National Tournament: University of Wisconsin
The twisted logic on this page hath made my head explode. Ow.
I can't wait for April for states- this may be the year my team finally reaches the promised land. (promised? Maybe just "the land"). I'm dying for a chance to go and the University of Wisconsin sounds like a nice school. Has anyone been there?

So by your logic they should stop being so good, and let other people go to nationals?quizbowl13 wrote:yes.starpug wrote:It's their fault they're better then you?quizbowl13 wrote: well, if you got dead last, then we would increase several points for your points would be demoted. and therefore, that would have been at least third, probably right behind 2nd if not even.

It's like if the Royals asked the Yankees or Red Sox to stop winning. It's not going to happen, they've got to change their own team to get good, not other teams.

I have never been there, but I heard they are a really good argicultural school. Do you think UWM will do extra stuff for medals like this past year?

It's always possible, but I don't know. Urbana-Champaign was probably as nice as the schools will get in terms of that.
