Interstingly, a new scioly memeber has joined. Assassinations Past, who claims to be a graduate from New York.

The curtains of his bed were drawn aside; and Scrooge, starting up into a half-recumbent attitude, found himself face to face with the unearthly visitor who drew them: as close to it as I am now to you, and I am standing in the spirit at your elbow.
I am the Ghost of Assassinations Past, not long past, but the game's past. Rise, and walk with me!

The first of these strange visions will show you a victim, a person whom you may or may not hold dearly to you, but will die never the less. A string on wood vibrates, and by his hand many have died. Now it will be his turn.

Now, I would like to play a game with everyone. If you can correctly protect my victim, then I will grant a brand new shinny accusation to everyone who has protected up until that point. No penalties will be given out to wrong accusations.

Now, get working, before my fire burns you.

Alright, here's the deal. The assassinator grants extra accusations to everyone who has protected when the correct protect is made. So in theory, if we solve the clue for sure, everyone but 1 person should protect incorrectly then the last person protects the true target. Kinda silly.

I agree that this probably points to robotman.

im not sure whether it was deliberate or not, but it strikes me as odd.

AplhaTauri has been Assassinator once, but did not actually kill anyone. Robotman has killed... 10 or so. Robotman would be the smart bet. However, I will start out this questionable protecting strategy.

I protect AlphaTauri because she has a violin as an avatar and violins have strings that vibrate on wood.
