Re: Awesome Aquifers B
Well, Awesome Aquifers isn't really heavy. Compared to Dynamic Planet, that is. There are going to be 4 stations, 10 minutes each.
Station 1: Written Test
Station 2: Written Test
Station 3: Build an Aquifer, Make Notes for Presentation
Station 4: Give Presentation
- It's a verbal test, you answer a question by demonstration and explanation.

Re: Awesome Aquifers B
Dose anyone have a list of things that we should prepare to demonstrate in our model?

Also how should the rocks be layered in the model? Dose it really make a difference?

A list of sample building concepts can be found on soinc.org on one of the links, and the layering of the rocks depends on what you are trying to demonstrate, for example for porosity you could have two different types layered and show the difference between the two, et cetera.Friedoyster3 wrote:Also how should the rocks be layered in the model? do we have to use everything we bring?
People will remember you not for what you did or said, but how you made them feel.

Is there a limit to the amount of supplies we can bring?

Re: Awesome Aquifers B
There was a recent clarification on that which says that you can really bring as much as you want (within reason)

Re: Awesome Aquifers B
When some of the building concepts are porosity and permeablilty, do you have to have two different types of materials to contrast, or can you demonstrate them with just one?
