Ugh.... there are so many packets for Meteorology to study.... I feel like I am drowning in boredom.... seriously...
In my opinion, studying Meteorology is boring, but seeing it in action is awesome. Where I live, there are hardly any storms to see!
I need help on isotherms or something[can't even remember the right term]. Can anybody help?

isotherms are lines of constant temperature
isobars are lines of constant pressure

iso will always mean equals (like isoceles triangle). So whenever you see iso-something, even if you don't know what is, it will always be a line of equal or constant "something". From there, if you know your weather terms, you can take a very well educated guess. Like Iso (equal) + Therm (temperature) = Isotherm.

Thanks. I guess I understand the concepts, but I don't think I can read the map. On a pop quiz I was supposed to read one and I got it wrong. T^T

From what i remember it was basic weather maps to radar where you needed to find a tornado etc.

I'm new to this event and I just entered 7th grade so super psyched to do this ;) have the blood of a Kansasian and so it gives me natural ability ;) lol jk
