Better than losing by two points and not going. Okay, Okay, I'm done complaining...

In Nebraska, there was only 4 points between 3rd and 1st. (with 2nd in the middle of course.) Unfortunately, my team was the 3rd.

That's too bad. Some states are really competitive. It's tough when you're on the bottom of one of those close races.

What was your margin of victory?
apparently from the california south thread it was about ten :o
it was 10, but thats the closest in 7 or 8 years, based on our chart of the top 6 we could not tell... we had equal golds and silvers as the 2nd team and we knew two events we bombed...

Wow. Now that's close.

Wanna know wats closer? Well not really, but ill continue my rant anyway...the AP physics teacher at our school had a tower building contest...for structural efficiency of course. This junior beat me out of first.

We tie in terms of efficiency, but his tower was lighter than mine by like .05 grams.

Ya, cause thats more important than losing a chance to go to Nats.

in california its 1st or nothing cauz our state is split so its 1 from each not 2 and there are 5 or 6 teams capable of making top 10 at nationals... at least at the south, i think there might be one in the north but i dont compete there...
