Why are you in Sci Oly

Because i did the Elementary one every time i was able to, and i tried out and it was the most funnest thing ever, and i love science. Also we have a lot of great people and couches which make it a blast!

Because when my teacher asked "who wants to be in science olympiad" my friends made me put my hand up, then i stayed in cuz i get to travel outside of this boring old city

Because it's where my best friends are.

I originally joined because my parents had a friend whose son had been involved and loved it. They wouldn't shut up about it, so I went to a work-session and made my first friends. My first friends EVER.

I couldn't leave after that.

And science has held an huge interest for me

I've always loved science and would incorporate it into a lot of my writing, so at the end of seventh grade one of the olympiad coaches who I was close with (he also taught Social Studies) came to me to say that he wanted to put me down in Sci Oly the next year, since he thought I would enjoy Crime Busters and Write it Do it. Turns out, he was right, and so I joined up this year as well as a ninth grader. ^_^

I first saw how a lot of my friends where talking about all these things in Scioly, then I thought it was really fun and I wanted to join.

Then I realized I had to study.

And I got to learn.

And more friends.
