The first clue will be posted in exactly 24 hours (hopefully). If you wish to join, you have until then to send your meme. Otherwise, you will be placed on the waitlist if you wish to join. Answers to questions will be posted later today.

Change of plans. New rules, rule clarifications, and teams will be posted before the first kill clue tomorrow. We can answer one question now though. Civilians will be allowed to post, but we encourage you to join a team or the waitlist rather than posting as a civilian. If your concern is commitment, you can drop out at any time if you need.

New Rules, Rule Clarifications, and Teams

New Rules
New Rule 7b - If someone is wrongly accused, they will be killed. This death will not count as a victory point for the opposing team, but the team opposing the team that wrongfully accused will gain a point.
Examples: Team A wrongfully accuses someone on team B - team b gains a point
Team A wrongfully accuses someone on their own team - team b still gains a point

New Rule 17 - The person who initiates the accuse that kills the last assassinator will pick the next assassinator.
Example: Sassy A has been correctly accused and is dead. Person A accuses sassy B and their team supports said accuse, Person A will pick the next sassy.

Rule Clarifications
Victory Points System Clarifications:
What Victory Points Do - Victory Points are what you need to win the game. You need 15 victory points, as well as both assassinators correctly accused. However, you do not necessarily need to accuse both assassinators to win.

How to Get Victory Points:
There are many ways to get victory points:
The first team to correctly solve a kill clue and protect the intended target(s) will get one point.
A correct accusation will count as 4 points.
If someone dies on the opposing team (with exceptions), your team will gain a point.
If the opposing team incorrectly accuses someone, your team will gain a point.

Teams
This Link will take you to the teams and waitlist doc. Here you can see who is on which team and who is on the waitlist. You will also be receiving a PM shortly with a link to your team’s chatroom google doc. This is not to be shared with the opposing team, as it is where (likely) most of your communication will take place. Also, as a team, you will need to come up with a team name before the first clue then PM it to the sassy account. PS-The teams were randomly generated.

You have one hour to prepare for the first clue. Good luck.

The science olympians disembark the train and look in amazement at the city they are in. It’s a wonderland of memes. Billboards have no ads, just memes, and even the roads have memes painted over them. Suddenly BennyTheJett catches sight of a particularly worrying message.

BennyTheJett - Hey guys? Look at that billboard over there. It’s not a meme.
Umaroth - Yeah… look it’s a message for us.
