*edit* ok... mabey nvmgh wrote:It's because Opera does layout and redrawing as it loads a website, while other browsers are so slow graphically that they will only try to redraw when a site is completely loaded (though you can change this). The "problem" is just that the page's content is loaded, but the stylesheet (which describes the appearance on everything on the site) has not.

Re: Network Timeouts
My computer says "scioly.org is taking too long to respond" and I have to press try again, or refresh. I use mozilla too.

Re: Network Timeouts
It's probably the same thing. The website needs more than one file loaded up to look correct, so any browser can do that sort of thing.

I also use Mozilla. This is one of the only websites my computer has trouble loading.

Re: Network Timeouts
Are you using Mozilla or Firefox?
I've been using Firefox on this site forever and it doesn't have any problems. But I've never used Mozilla, which I don't even think is supported anymore. Not that the two are vastly different.

Re: Network Timeouts
Yeah my home computer has Mozilla Firefox. Although Andrewski may be right that they might have been two separate things and they recently joined together. This happened to me once when using Mozilla Firefox where binary code just came up, but I hit refresh and it turned back to normal. That was a while ago though, and it hasn't happened to me on safari.
EDIT: Wikipedia says that Mozilla and Mozilla Firefox are two separate things.
