Ava comes principally from a variant of the name Eva, which came from Latin, from Greek, and ultimately from Hebrew, from the name Eve (the biblical character; source 1, 2). Apparently, the name Avalon comes from a Celtic language, but aside from this one really old source, the only recent thing I could find was this unpublished manuscript, so I guess maybe they don't share a common ancestor?? You've asked a pretty fascinating question, but all of my usual etymology dictionaries are failing me rip

Ok I just realized I didn't read the rules properly AGAIN and that it's not the first two people to PM the sassy to be evil... . I guess I'll wait for the entry clue.

EDIT: If anybody's wondering why I'm so eager to be evil, it's because it's so much more fun to be evil in Secret Hitler. I'm guessing it's going to be similar in this game.
