Why's it banned? As far as I know, getting tests is a really good way to better your team and its experience at important competitions.

Many competitions don't want their tests to be released publicly, because then teams have less of an incentive to attend the competition.

I mean, if you just look around at the websites of some invitationals, they usually publicly release tests.
