It was a clear September night. The officers had placed chosen members of the community under a 24-hour watch. But alas, it was all in vain. For as she was walking home, I used a device to create an unplanned destruction of a manhole cover outside an apartment building, and linzhiyan just happened to be walking along that very street at an unfortunate time, and didn't see the hole in the dark. Better luck next time, I suppose.

As CPScienceDude was walking home this evening, TheCrazyChemist decided to stop him on the street to talk with him to delay any of my plans, and another one of my manhole traps detonated harmlessly on the very path that CPScienceDude was about to walk on.
