I have a question about Banebots as well. I plan on using 1/4" shafts, but Banebots only sells hubs that accommodate shafts up to 6 mm. On their website, it says that the 6 mm hubs can be modified for 1/4" shafts. Does anyone know how this would be done?

I'm thinking drill press or you could just go up to T81s and get 1/4" hubs, since green T40s are currently out of stock

Is there a difference between the different colors of banebot wheels preformance wise. Also, is there a difference between the T40 and T81 performance wise?

As for the second question, thats for you to experiment with, both have different sizes and widths.

Has anyone had a problem with the banebots hubs eventually slipping off shafts even with the set screws tightened all the way? If so, what could be a good solution to this problem? Also, what causes this?

Had the same problem. I think tightening the set screw on a threaded rod is iffy. I filed a flat spot on the axle and haven't had a problem since.

Ok. In that case, I will try using threadlock on the screws to hold them in place. (I'm actually using the hubs on an unthreaded aluminum shaft.)

Should one use compliant or normal banebots wheels?
