Does anyone have an idea of when the MSOE website will be updated for this season?

Usually after most people start practices :P ....I think it was mid-October last year?

What textbooks should I read for Protein Modeling? Would an organic chemistry textbook chapter be a good idea?
2019:Fermi Questions, Protein Modeling, Sounds of Music
2020: Designer Genes, Protein Modeling, Ping Pong Parachute
2021: Chem Lab, Experimental Design, Protein Modeling

The papers that MSOE puts on its website are a great read(last year’s papers are good for understanding CRISPR), and ig scioly wiki is a decent starting point(I think it’s all factually correct to :P ). Naw, def not orgochem, that just doesn’t really help imo

The reason I brought up orgo chem is because I did a couple of invitational tests as practice at home and a few of the questions were quite challenging.

It definitely depends on the test writer. I don't think organic chemistry is necessary, but it could be included. (of course there is an overlap between orgo and biochem). I would stick with biochemistry rather than orgo. You do not need to know topics such as edman degradation, but you should know anfinsen dogma, hydrophobic effect, and thermodynamic stability of proteins

Which textbook would I use for biochemistry? I currently only have Campbell biology.
Campbell biology is a great start. I would find books that focuses on proteins.
