Yes Orson Scott Card. Ender's Game is one of my favorite books, ever.

I'd also suggest Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan, and i liked the book Beastly, by...Flynn, i think the author's last name was. It's like a modern Beauty and the beast.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy:
Read the first 4 in the trilogy (yes i know trilogy = 3, but this one has 5)
but dont waste your time with the 5th

Best book(s) ever, worst movie of all time.

If you are going to read the first 4 you might as well read the 5th one. Its a good book too.

And the movie was great. You just have to know that that is how the movie was originally planned to be, completely different from the books. If you read the introduction to the More than Complete Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams explains how the different parts of the work came into existance, and the fact that each different medium is supposed to be completely different.

And in you signature you left an e off of made in the quote.

I read A Thousand Splendid Suns today.
It was so good I read straight through it for 5 hours. I didn't even stop for lunch.
But it was so sad and violent, probably even more than The Kite Runner.
I laughed out loud twice but I cried and cried and cried like ten times.

I would recomend the pendragon books (There are 10 of them)
though you have to read them exactly in order as you will be VERY confused if you don't.
