Billy Mays died because of Exploding Head Syndrome. After a bumpy landing in an airport all the luggage fell on his head.

Eh, he was on a plane that blew its front landing gear yesterday. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident, although he did report getting hit on the head (but said he was fine).

Nothing says he had Exploding Head Syndrome, and getting hit on the head would definitely not cause that.
