9th Graders

Our school has grades 7-12. Last year we only had a C Division team. We are considering have ing both C and B this year. As I read the rules a 9th grader can be on either team.

I also understand that if a we have two C teams entered in a tournament students can only compete on one of the teams, that is, our best team member can't be on both C division teams.

My questions regards 9th graders. If we enter a invitational with both divisions, can a 9th grader compete on 1 C team and 1 B team??

If I understand your question correctly, any given 9th grader can only compete in B division or C division, not both. Individual eligibility is subject to all the rules that have been provided here.

My middle school was 6-8, but sometimes we would invite the 9th graders to be part of our team.
