Wait, did you mean Aristocratic or Affine?Name wrote: Question: Decode this affine cipher given that xhr is the encryption of the word "key"

Affine, although affine is a type of monoalpabetic substitution and you can treat it as a aritocratic cipher although the cipher text might be too short for that. Just use affine I guesslinzhiyan wrote:Wait, did you mean Aristocratic or Affine?Name wrote: Question: Decode this affine cipher given that xhr is the encryption of the word "key"

ALSOPLEASEGIVEYOURDECRYPTIONKEY
The answer also asked for the decryption key...hippo9 wrote:ALSOPLEASEGIVEYOURDECRYPTIONKEY

Also do you mean encode the text?
a=7 b=5
What? I thought encoded baconian cipher was like aaaaa is a aaaab is b aaaba is c etchippo9 wrote:Oh sorry itsName wrote:The answer also asked for the decryption key...hippo9 wrote:ALSOPLEASEGIVEYOURDECRYPTIONKEY

Also do you mean encode the text?Also no, it's decoding from that ciphertext to plaintext if you need further explanation just ask.a=7 b=5

It is, but you can convert that to a regular text with the two typefaces representing a/b or 0/1 depending on whether you're using binary or letters, which in the case above the lowercase was a and the uppercase was b
