Allegiance to: Colombia! So happy we’re back in the wc and this time we have Falcao

4 fav teams to win: Brazil, Spain, France, Germany

Dark horse(s): Egypt, Sweden, Peru. Peru is hungry and has a great team, Egypt has Salah and a very accesible group, and Sweden knocked out Italy and Netherlands on the road to Russia so I’m expecting great things from them even though I hope Mexico beats them in the group stage.

Ok so champion. I really don’t know it’s up in the air but honestly I think Brazil. I don’t like Brazil (because of what happened last wc...) but they have an insane team this year and they’re the only big team that hasn’t slipped up yet. France lost to Colombia, Spain tied to Switzerland and Germany lost to Austria. That’s not going to fly in the World Cup. People overlook Brazil I think to win it all, simply because people always talk about the squad depth that Spain, Germany and France all have that Brazil doesn’t. But let’s be real: the talent on the bench never won a game from the bench. What’s important is what’s on the pitch and Brazil have a really good starting eleven, that’s consistent and wins games. They’re going to get really far.
