Hey everyone!
As some of you probably noticed, we played a little joke with the theme yesterday. Some years, we try to use April Fool's jokes as a way to make some form of statement on the site; this was not one of those years. This was mostly just a silly prank playing on recent events in the SO community.
However, we have been having internal discussions about the role of test sets with respect to a test exchange. No concrete plans have been selected, but a system by which test sets from past years can be uploaded or linked to seems likely, accompanied by a method by which tournament directors can issue takedown requests of the sets if they find them and don't want them publicly displayed. Test sets from the current year are still a point of discussion, but we are trying to decide on a process by which submitters can get approval to upload these. Like many of you, we do want to see tests being shared openly! But we're working on ways so that our bases are covered to avoid any potentially bad situations before they occur.
Single tests can still be uploaded on the 2018 Test Exchange Wiki. New and new-ish events, like Hovercraft and Potions and Poisons, and events with new topics for 2018, like Materials Science and Solar System, have the biggest needs.
