i have a good one build already a few of the parts are from a wheeled vehicle so it is good to keep all devices most of the time you can reuse them

1999: I don't see any size stuff...maybe these were draft rules?

They don't allow rules to be published anywhere except in the rules books!
It seems that this event is indeed very similar to EV...essentially EV without the use of electronics.
Battery Buggy was EV's father! Ev's grandfather was Wheeled Vehicle and its great-grandfather was Mousetrap Vehicle. Mousetrap Vehicle goes all the way back to 1987. It was the first of the "vehicle" events. One of the reason's for its demise was the fact that mousetraps made today tend to fly apart after a few runs.
Battery Buggy ran from 1999-2002.
1999 6.5V, No size limits, Time: 100pts, Distance 100pts, In Lane 10pts, Finish line 20pts
2000 3.5V, No size limits, Time: 50pts, Distance 100pts, in Lane 10pts, Finish Line 40pts
2001 3.5V 60 +/- 2cm 30cm, Time: 50pts, Distance 100pts, in Lane 10pts, Finish Line 40pts
2002 5.0V 40 +/- 3cm 25cm, Time: 50pts, Distance 100pts, in Lane 10pts, Finish Line 40pts
Here's a complete history of the "Vehicle" events. Except for Robo Billiards, they were all based on the event that preceded them. Robot events are now rotated with Mission Possible & JYC (subject to change at any time)!
Mousetrap Vehicle (87-95)
Wheeled Vehicle (96 trial, 97-98)
Battery Buggy(99-02)
Robo Billiards 2003-05
Wheeled Vehicle (04trial, 06-07)
Electric Vehicle (08-09)
Note: There appears to be some errors in the
event history chart).
