SED: A beat is provided by the event supervisor and teams have a freestyle rap/dance competition. Tournament-style set up like Sumo Bots.

It's About Thyme
SED: Teams answer questions about biology and recipes related to different herbs and spices. At least 50% of the test must be specifically about thyme.

Anatomy and Fizziology
SED: Teams are tested on their knowledge of affects of different types of carbonated drinks on the human body.

Fecology
SED: Teams will answer questions about human and animal waste matter.

Flattery Buggy
SED: Same rules as Battery Buggy, except that the students must be very nice to the event supervisors while testing the buggy.

Rhyme Busters
SED: Teams will be tested on their knowledge of rhymes. They will be given words on a test and must attempt to find as many rhymes as they can.

Mood Science
SED: Teams must try to figure out the event supervisor's mood solely by looking at his/her expressions.

Leech in the Cars
SED: Teams will bring leeches to competition and try to find the ES's car and put their leeches inside.

SED- Teams will be as rude as possible to different chemicals and record how each one responds.

Teams will create and perform a rap about geologic principles.

Protein Modeling
Teams will create fashionable cloths, shoes, and other accessories for proteins. The team that creates the protein with the most style points wins.

Blave the Wave

As we all know, to blave means to bluff, so this event would entail playing cards and cheating in the least suspicious way possible. Competitors are challenged to creatively incorporate the concept of a "wave" into their method of choice. If a player is caught cheating, he or she is immediately disqualified, optionally punishable by death (competitions are expected to announce their choice on this matter at least a week before the competition).

Rocks, Papers, & Scissors
SED: Teams will compete in one giant tournament of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Hover-raft

SED: Participants need to build a levitating raft and ride it across the nearest river. They are also tested on the history of rafts.

Sonar system

SED: Participants build a sonar system that can navigate a maze without hitting the walls.

Thermitedynamics
SED: Competitors must attempt to light as many objects as they can on fire using thermite.
