Scores?

My new roller coaster has a top score of about 405

How did you manage to get that high score, I am assuming you have several gaps more than 10 cm each, how did you manage the consistency and what ball did you use ?

I'm nicks partner and we had 4 gaps of around 21, 14, 11, and 19 with a height of 77cm and time of about 30s. It does require a bit of luck but we made it so that the ball always gets caught somewhere and keeps on going even if the jumps don't all work

That is awesome that you were able to consistently land the ball , were your gaps across the diagonal of the coaster or on the four walls ? The reason I ask is do the track length play a role in how far the ball jumps ?

Yes indeed the track length does effect how far the ball gets. We tried to maximize the distance the wall travels before it jumps.

In San Diego regional today, 1 team has posted a 404 score

We won our regionals with a score of 234. 30 second goal with a run time of 28, 3 gaps. Competition didn't have many gaps at all.

What is the shape of the track you have used to maximize the jump?is it just one downward ramp the ball rolls before making the jump?

Depending on the target time we are from 370-400
