most people somehow reveal there state one way or another so it isn't necessarialy needed

It's true, but if your going to reveal it anyways, why not put it in one convient place?

If people aren't going to put it in their location, they should at least put their state flag in their sig.

Why not instead of bothering DS we just urge people to put their state in the location field? That way you know where some people are from and DS doesn't have to do anything?

There was one way that I did it but I can't remember. However, if you right click a flag in somebody's sig, then click view image, it will take you to another page. When you are there you only see that flag. Just change the state in the url to the one you want. Then copy the url and add it to your sig.

At the bottem of the Feedback section, there is a thread labeled "flags", where DS has links to all the flags

i like my location, and i don't want to be forced to make it a state, if someone wants to say what state they're from thats fine, if not, it doesn't really matter, we all have the same rules

i don't agree with this. some people don't want to say where they are from and we should respect that. If you do want people to see where you are from, write it in the location spot or put up a state flag.
