Very well then, my friend. Do not fret, for the game shall begin on the first of November. We are sure you will have a splendid time.
Until then,

...Well, maybe not exactly a twist. How about a... curve?
Good luck.

Let's get started! Looks like the Hamburg Hawks are a youth hockey organization in NY. Any hockey players out there?

When I clicked on the link of "a new twist", it said "64not81" (Also I noticed the Sassy's signature is now "Ten medals on the wall"

Idk it might be a clue. I'm gonna try to decode the message...

Yeah, I haven't been able to figure out the message yet. I think the "ten medals on the wall" might be about how many kills are left until the Sassies win.

The word "splendid" might be a key? It is italicized...

I remember when "And Then There Were None" was summer reading for us. Ten people die in the story, and after each death a china figurine is broken or something, which I think is being reference here? I have no idea what "64not81" is supposed to mean...

Same... my first thought with that was perfect squares. Maybe we're supposed to square all the numbers, but I really don't know what that would do to help solve the clue.

Maybe the start date is important in some way.

Well, I certainly find the first of November to be pretty significant: most early decision schools require your application by then. Maybe that's an allusion to a senior: after all, college essays kill.
