Did Apolo Ohno deserve disqualification?

Post by computergeek3 »

If you are a follower of speed skating, then you saw Friday's race in the Olympics. In the final lap of the 500 meter race, you probably saw Apolo Anton Ohno get disqualified from the race and the silver medal after touching a Canadian skater, who fell after Ohno released his hand. My question for you is: Did Ohno deserve to be disqualified from the race.

I suppose. It's not like he was the only one to get dq'ed for it. i'd guess even the lightest touch matters in speed skating.
but then again, it was canada... :? they were occasionally biased (ahem*women'sskatingthirdplace*ahem*)
