@ktrujillo52: Wow! You made a pretty strong resource in that exam - especially for the skeletal system! Your style of preparing for the endocrine system seems pretty strong, too - although the exam isn't very thorough (especially when compared to your thorough examination of the skeletal system). If you keep that level of detail in your studying and get through all of the topics you'll be a force to be reckoned with! I hope we see you at state this year.

Re: Anatomy B/C
lol thanks. The Skeletal System is my strongest area, and my favorite. I wasn't really too concerned with the Endocrine system until after our last invitational at East Chicago due to the test questions being about 70% Endocrine. I'll be working on that and the Muscular system the most for now, and hopefully my team does make state this yearpeoneill wrote:@ktrujillo52: Wow! Re: Anatomy B/C
Are the test questions separated into both anatomy and physiology in distinct parts, or are the questions mixed?

In terms of ANATOMY and PHYSIOLOGY, they are mixed. But in terms of Skeletal, Endocrine, and Muscular, they are separated.tclme_elmo wrote:Are the test questions separated into both anatomy and physiology in distinct parts, or are the questions mixed?

Re: Anatomy B/C
Ok not to be rude but I highly doubt anyone is going to give you their cheat sheet. Some of the people on here (myself included) don't agree with the decision to allow cheat sheets because someone that doesn't memorize all of the information might do better than someone who did memorize all of the information if they have a highly detailed note sheet. That's bull. Not having a notesheet is evidence of not studying. How fair is it to those at the competition who did study and did take the time to make a good note sheet? It took me a good amount of time to make my note sheet as detailed as it is and I'm not giving it to anyone, regardless of whether or not they will be at my competition. My advice is to just make your own note sheet, you might not get as good of a place as you might with a more detailed note sheet but at least you will actually learn something and the place that you get you will have EARNED on your own.
But here is my advice for the note sheet. Have the Anatomy rules with you and go down and check the things that you already know and do not need to put on the note sheet. Then whatever you have remaining, research it and add as much as you can about each topic to your note sheet, including diagrams, charts, etc.
Good luck.

Re: Anatomy B/C
Yeah...definitely.
The cheat sheet is for YOU to make. YOU’RE the one who knows what you don’t know, we don’t. So sorry, can’t help you on that. No offense.

Re: Anatomy B/C
i agree again the cheat sheet is for u to makehutson wrote:Does anybody have a good cheat sheet for me to take with me on Saturday?
u'll understand ur own cheat sheet better
a cheat sheet isnt really nessasary anyways
alot is just memorization
and it wud take too long to look up muscles ona diagram or something
anyways
u shud make it urself
and even though ur competition is on sat
u still have time to make it
if ur notes are neat and extensive
i once made my cheat sheet night of for oceanography which isnt an event anymore

scioly is for test exchange, help w/ resources, rule clarification etc
u shudnt ask ppl for their cheat sheet who put their heart and soul into making it

I still have to make the answer key haha. I'll probably have it done and uploaded by the end of next week.

Re: Anatomy B/C
It's finals week for me, and I have to write a bunch of essays for a scholarship that I'm applying for...and I started running again. I haven't really had the time but I promise I'm going to stay up tonight and make the answer key, it will be up by tomorrow morning.
