Another fad appears to be the usage of multiple bright colors when typing, as observed from your post and sig.
i'd rather be a fruit loop than a cheerio! and i dont see many posts with bright colors aside from mine...

btw, skinny jeans actually make your thighs look bigger, because it's slimming your ankles. only really really skinny people wear them because they know they are so skinny enough that it doesnt make a difference either way.
i like straight-legged jeans/pants; we have uniforms... bleh

I like things that are comfortable. Skinny jeans look like they would be uncomfortable to even walk in. And uggs are basically just boots, and there's nothing special about them.

Fads in our school:
-ugh sweatpants
-sweatpants tucked into uggs
-wearing shorts underneath your sweatpants so that you can pull down your sweatpants a little to look cool without getting in trouble for any undergarments showing
-skinny jeans

Happy diamondplatinum?

Me and my ecology parter use google wave to discuss the event. It's really useful.

Yeah, I got a wave account, but on my computer it works really slow. Plus, I don't get what the difference is between creating a wave, and a chat on gmail. Isn't it just the same thing?

sigh...it went something like this:

Kindergerden: Pokemon (okay, maybe I was the only one obsessed with it...i remember the first question i asked my best friend in kindergarden was "do you like pokemon" she just kinda stared at me blankly)

1st to like 3rd grade: went from pokemon to digimon (which died out pretty quickly though) then yu gi oh...i never did really lose my faith in pokemon though

idk...those were past, way past. then came the livestrong bracelets. eye shadow/makeup in general became used in 5th grade. "going out" was around for a while...i forget starting when...5th grade or below... hair growing (not like ppl normally dont grow hair, but guys growing it longer than usual)

present: hmm....plaid, skinny jeans, converses, uggs/boots in general, hair things or another, jewelry...like a ton of it..., sagging pants for guys who think they're just too cool to wear pants properly :| , neon was in for awhile...vans with random, bright, unmatching laces.

sigh...and in the midst of all that crap, pokemon just kinda faded away... :( i must say ive kinda grown out of it myself :?

Another one like me! I too enjoy comfort, and have never worn any denim in my life, even though I've had a similar wardrobe from about the time I was in fifth grade or earlier. The only boots I've ever worn are for mountaineering and "extreme" hiking. A few fads I've experienced-

4th grade- Police brutality (rather the attempted comedy at it)
5th grade- Boxman (from Smosh on YouTube)
6th grade- Yu-Gi-Oh, girls, (which I benefited from, being able to get close to a few) and Eye of the Tiger (one I was pivotal in starting)
7th grade- DC Shoes, social networking, and Call of Duty

Cherish the old times, for they are not polluted like this. ;)

girls/guys aren't really fads. more like long-term hobbies beginning from 5th-6th grade
