Re: Swine Flu
Yeah, I know, but it could definitely be worse (Although I guess I had a pretty mild case).gneissisnice wrote:Eh, it's not exactly fun.
I had a terrible headache that just wouldnt go away, a fever, and my body just felt sore. I was tired and just felt bad, overall.
But I got over it after around a week or two.
I know everything.tclme_elmo wrote:how do you know?gyourkoshaven wrote:Uhh we had 34something out of 1200 absent a week or so ago (I think 346 but I don't want to lie.) And nobody's really worried (Or was). I probably had it...It's not that bad, you just get tired.

Re: Swine Flu
I think the government is overreacting. It is like the flu but you "can" die from it. There have been some deaths but not enough to call it an epidemic.

There is normally 10000 deaths from the regular flu.

Re: Swine Flu
Epidemic status is based on the number of cases, not number of deaths.sciolyman1996 wrote:I think the government is overreacting. It is like the flu but you "can" die from it. There have been some deaths but not enough to call it an epidemic.
So it is an epidemic, albeit a fairly nonthreatening one.

Re: Swine Flu
is it not a pandemic?
anyway, there is a family (around where I live), and all the people in that family have H1N1. that's not gonna turn out great.
