I want to call attention to the professional quality and polish of Obama's campaign website compared to the ragtag mess that is McCain's. The latter is a clash of colors, a flash video in front etc etc. Obama's is nice and pretty, with balanced colours. Click on 'view background image' on Obama's main page, and you'll see that behind that magic is the American Eagle. Delicious!

Moreover, at the time of this posting, Obama's site calls for donations to the victims of Ike, while McCain's version of this call is hidden behind javascript links that I shall not bother to enable. The number of fascinating parallels to their actual positions you can make is astounding.

I'm from NJ, so I feel that my opinion matters very little because it's very unlikely that NJ can be swayed to vote McCain. Obama has a statistically relevant lead here that will take a lot to overcome.

Anyways, I support McCain/Palin, but I'd prefer it if Huckabee was the president of the US. We need a true conservative for president, not Neo-cons or RINOs or Democrats.

You might know of Ron Paul supporters as kooks or conspiracy theorists.

I am just a person that is tired of the same old politics.

Now is not the only time politics is superficial. Check out the 1992 Presidential debates. They sound just like the ones today.

Politics in at Scioly ...interesting..
All I want to say is that Politicians should start paying a lot more attention to the Sciences...because in the future there are going to be a lot more scientists :D
Otherwise, I think Obama is better because he has good aplomb. I think McCain is trying to hard to get voters away from Obama (he should concentrate more on other things esp. his economic policy!!!)

Ok, for the record I'm a moderate leaning towards Obama. That said, in the first presidential debate, it looked to me as if Obama was the go to guy for the economy, but McCain balanced that out with his actual plans in foreign policy. There Obama seemed rather vague, or only focused on how we got into Iraq rather than getting out. Also, as to Palin being a reformer, does anyone remember that bridge to nowhere deal? She apparently supported the project until it became a political liability to do so, then took the 300 million dollars when it was offered for another project anyway. Can't say that fits with the taking on pork barrel spending/lobbyists bit very well.

Does anyone have predictions for the VP debate tomorrow night? How about the selection of Gwen Ifill as moderator?

Ah, pfsh. VPs don't really matter all that much. In this election, and as usual, they're just distracting eyecandy for the tickets.
