I think it said you could use front and back of one sheet of computer paper.

Yeah, anything you can fit on both sides of an 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.

2. At regional and state tournaments, teams may bring one published field guide, the three page official National Bird List, and one 8.5"x11" that may contain information in any form from any source (Teams may tab the guide and write on any of the tabs).
It also explains that you can bring two guides to nationals.

I have had my clarification answered.

You may alter the book only in the following ways:
Written Notes
Drawings
Tabs

NOTHING ELSE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE BIRD FIELD GUIDES!
Events: Herpetology, Fossils, Entomology, Rocks & Minerals, Ornithology, Ecology
Nationals 2008: 1st in Herpetology
Nationals 2009: 1st in Herpetology, 2nd in Fossils
