The new national website launched today. While there are many similarities in content, there are also many changes.

My guess is that very few of the old links will work.

How does one go about ordering the manuals? There isn't a link to the store anywhere, except for this page.

Also, what happened to the RSS feeds for the FAQs? Not that I subscribed to them... >_>

How does one go about ordering the manuals?

As long as it still works you can go to the Science Olympiad Store. The new one should be open soon.

Note: You should be able to also access the Old Site (for a while).

The best thing about the new website, without a doubt, is that according to the trial event page, 'Birds and Bees' is now a lab event.

Haha that is amazing. And my LI ecology teacher was born in France, so he thought it was birds and flowers. When we corrected him, he was like "But birds and bees dont make sense. At least the birds help the flowers reproduce".

Personaly i do not like the new soinc.org too much. Sure it's appearance has improved and looks better but it has lost it's functionality. It might just be the transition phase and things might not be up and running yet like the SO store which i read about, idk. I can't find the draft rules, i don't like the trial events page plus the event desciption page and especially how it doesn't link to the specific event's page like it used to. I know that i'm going to get used to it and like it eventually but for now i rated it as " Idon't like it. Please go away, new website"

actually, on the other site, it didnt really link to the specific events page either, when you went to the event description page.
